Went really good! I gave them all the papers they needed and then I had to wait for a little while. After that, the guy working there asked me a couple questions and told me everything was good and I was approved. Really friendly people there and I was outside within 40 minutes.

Everything went very well only I did not realize i had to pay the 80 euros before I went, but I was allowed to pay it right there! They asked for nothing just my passport and the I-134 then I was told to wait. It wasnt long until they called me and said everything was good and i would recieve my passprt and package in with in the week. ( it only took 2 days)..

The following is transcribed from my fiance's tale of his experiences:

Make sure you leave home with plenty of time to spare. More than once, during this process, we've had issues with the trains and busses being late, and the interview day was no exception. I arrived about an hour ahead of time. I walked around the place about three times before going to stand by the Embassy gate. About fifteen minutes later, other people arrived. There was a girl there, also for a K-1 interview. I was stripped of my phone and MP3 player in an outdoor tent and was sent through another door. I got a receipt to get them back after the itnerview.

So I go inside and wait in a warm room. The TV has CNN on and try to make small-talk. Soon enough, I get called to a window and a guy checks stuff over with me. I had to show the affidavit, birth certificate, proof of money-transfer, and sign a form. Then I was told to go sit down again and wait until called. A bit later, I get call... read complete review

Straight forward, really.
I went to the Embassy with a TON of proof ( photos, emails, phone records, flight receipts, hotel receipts...etc), he looked at NONE of it.
I had all the documents required (medical,I-134...etc; etc)
After a long wait inside-the officer asked afew simple questions " How did you meet and where?"..etc etc etc.

Then he said " Congratulations on your up-coming marriage and entry to the United States, you are approved"....
...My passport arrived back from them with a visa within 4 days!

I will start by thanking the members of VJ for their useful advice and discussion in making this lenghty journey a reality. This is basically our experience with regards to the medical interview and actual interview at the US consulate Amsterdam,The Netherlands.I received my packet 4 on the 9th of Dec and had my medicals done on the 18th of Dec.
My mecicals was very simple.I first of all had to call both doctors for the physical examination and the x-ray the same day.For the physical examination,I had two immunization shots which cost 70 euros for both.My physical examination cost me 155 euros.During the physical examination, the doctor just asked me about my medical history like whether I have been hospitalised before,If am on any medication etc. After that,I had my x-ray which cost me 50 euros.

Our actual interview at the US consulate on the 9th Jan, I guess was the easiest part of this whole process. We were interviewed by a nice gentle guy.He didnt ask us any di... read complete review
